Yue-Biao Zhang received his B.S. degree (2006) and Ph.D. degree (2011) from Sun Yat-Sen University (Guangzhou, China) under the supervision of Prof. Xiao-Ming Chen. He has been working as a post-doctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Omar M. Yaghi successively at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA, 2011-2012), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL, 2012-2013), and the University of California, Berkeley (UCB, 2013-2015). He joined the School of Physical Science and Technology at the ShanghaiTech University as an Assistant Professor、PI in February 2015.

Research Interests
1. Electroactive covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for photovoltaic (PV), super capacitor, light emitting diode (LED), and etc.
2. Functionalization of highly stable metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for air purification and water recycling.
3. Porous nano materials for biomolecule and membrane.
